First operational year FY 2017 closed with an Rs 20mn turnover & volumes of 800 tons per month across 20+ clients. Strong emphasis on the quality and reliability
April 2017 to March 2018
Momentum with Suppliers development
Developed dedicated suppliers across the region to ensure sustainable supply. Briquette business scaled up from 800 tons to 1800 tons per month across 45 clients and aggregating from over 35 suppliers. Expanded supplier base and relations by supporting them with auxiliary equipment.
April 2018 to March 2019
Focus on Risk Management and large contracts
Risk management became focus area in aggregation business which reflect in marquee clientele acquired; Also ventured into performance-based supply with large steam based contracts executed for Godrej and United Breweries.
April 2019 to March 2020
Entry into Pellet manufacturing
This period was a stepping stone for Biofuels Junction with volumes crossing 3000 tons per month and acquisition of ACI Clean Energy for manufacturing of commercial-grade pellets; Received private equity capital for growth in Biofuels Junction; management team expansion by adding senior members for manufacturing and logistics & planning.
April 2020 till Date
New geographies and consolidated manufacturer partnership model
Started business operation in Bihar, Himachal Pradesh and Kerala. Signed contract with 6 manufacturers to ensure dedicated supply. Pellet manufacturing levels improved to meet the market demands; Briquettes volumes ramped up to almost at pre-covid levels; Curtailed unviable operations and scaled up strategic manufacturing set ups.
